@StarlingBank disappointed to learn that @PostOffice have implemented a rule that business deposits can now only have a max of £250 in coins. This causes a big issue for companies like mine (operating vending machines) with how we bank cash.
@dresserman@SimonMDLord Not just the supermarkets, us in the vending industry will be hit hard, the preferred proposal is to ban them in all vending machines, even though 80% of machines in the UK are in work places where under 16’s have no access.
@UberUKI_Support I know, telling me how to add a coupon/voucher to my account, and closing the support ticket, ignoring the screenshots or explanation that it’s already on my account sitting there waiting for me to use it, but all I get is ‘error’ at checkout.
There’s nothing more I can do!!
Absolute rubbish from @ubereats_uk. Give a £50 ‘coupon’ to spend, it expires at midnight tonight, tried to use it and all you get is an error, and technical support is near impossible to contact and when they do they fob you off with script replies. Complete waste of time 🤬
@dresserman We gave up opening an business account with NatWest after the constant follow up questions. It’s a vending machine business, they couldn’t grasp that our income (and cash deposits at the bank) came from ‘the public’ buying chocolate bars. Went to Starling and opened in 2 days
