Every single person ive coached has gotten immediate improvement in aim by using these 3 things.
i consider these my "Golden Rules", everything after these 3 things is just a best educated guess on controller aiming.
So here is how to practice each so you get the benefit without thinking about it
1. Force the eyes on target.
not look at the target, not try and keep your eyes on target, it MUST be with extreme force and focus.
Personally, my eyes seem to not care about what i want them to look at. Odds are, your eyes are similar or have similar habits.
So when i say FORCE, it needs to be constant effort. After each death, blink to reset your eyes then get ready to focus them again. Constant, constant, constant reminding to the brain to actually use the eyes.
This can be done while in game, aim trainers or this eye trainer:

Few other skills that go into using the eyes correctly, Things like knowing when to blink, smooth vs quicker eye movements, keeping your eyes focused ( may be a me thing, but if i get lazy, it feels like my vision will blur a bit)
2. Controlled Breathing
Right now you are not breathing enough, in game you hold your breath, and when you try to actually breath, you breathe too much too fast then get dizzy.
If getting your breath into rhythm is not something you have practiced before, this will be frustrating and may make you play worse.
After some practice, either through thinking about it more when in game or in aim trainers, or through meditating with focus on simply breathing. You will eventually learn to stop shallowing breathing when gaming, but also get the ability to raise or lower the amount of stimulation in your head/body.
if you are too stimulated - anxious, shaky, frustrated.
Quick full inhale Then slow and controlled exhale
if you are Understimulated - bored, unfocused, slow to react.
Longer inhale quicker exhale - repeated
i personally find it much easier to go from understimulated to a good focus level, then to be over stimulated and try to calm my self down. If im too calm, tired. Getting up, moving a bit and increasing my inhales will wake me up really quick. But when too anxious, i will usually have to take a break, laydown and really focus on my breath.
3. Be aware of tension
Not control tension, change tension, or try to have the correct amount of tension. Just be aware of it.
this rule used to be "Control tension", but trying to do this will almost always lead to worse aim in that moment.
Which makes sense, our brain is using that tension to be stable, we lack stability with lighter amounts of force and using tension was the quickest fix.
When you are just "aware" of the tension in your hands and arms, i find it allows my brain to make changes without the friction of getting upset, trying to be less tense then aiming worse and getting more upset. Just feel the tension in the moment, be curious without putting blame on yourself when tension is used incorrectly.
Meditating has helped me a ton with letting go of tension,
Being more aware of how much tension i currently have.
Practice in aim trainers using very very little tension / high tension at the right times.
combined with controlling the breath, and staying calm, tension is a skill that is underdeveloped i most, easily prone to noise, but has much benefit when used correctly.
if i could start over, these would be the first 3 things id start working on and get perfect.

@renan_maniero Fala Renan, beleza?
