Following the wind-down of a whole L2 blockchain solution @AbstractChain I’m saddened to inform you (in no official capacity) of the soon to happen wind-down of the @StackRworld Marketplace.

Candy Digital has been hacked. The complete damage has yet to been assessed, it seems user wallets lost their SOL. Let’s hope our NFTs are safe.
re upcoming self-custody on VeVe - it will be OPTIONAL if I’m not wrong. I do NOT mind having custodial ownership until everything is 100% safe.
Self custody comes w/ risks as well as benefits
Web3 maxis & SC proponents (I lean this way) hate on walled gardens but they're also more frictionless & safer
This obviously isn't good but it also could've been a lot worse
I'm glad other communities are helping not flaunting💙
"It’s a simple royalty split“ was a statement from one of the founders in 2021. While the % on licensor primary sales was to a certain degree communicated, the secondary sales fee structure was more concrete post Marvel. I’m pretty sure for everything before there’s also (undisclosed) a bit of royalties from secondary sales. But I might be wrong.
Batcowl utility 2026 vs 2022-2024
I’m afraid it’s pretty much game over 🙁
At least @JimLee hasn’t removed his Batcowl PFP yet. But then again, he wasn’t active on 𝕏 since 2024 either…
This seems to be what we know so far from the Candy Digital wallets hack: $16.6k in $SOL stolen out of users wallets.
web3 can be cruel.
And now you might understand why it’s taking so long for VeVe/Collect (self-custody) to "move".
Safety/security first!
@CandyDigital@solana Account HLwZCJB8YU6Yvq8HNMMNNrLCo1xammz95bCa3jm2k75c is currently holding 150 SOL, roughly $16,650 of funds suspected with unauthorized movement.
Impossible. Unbelievable…
Me with hiccups. Happens maybe once every three months. Maybe half a year ago my daughter showed me a “trick"on how it is supposed to stop. Yeah right. But it worked.
Today the same procedure. And it worked!!!
wtf!
@deathbunnay@JimLee Buybacks? I don’t know about that. Checking the secondary market(s) sales - it’s not what everyone hoped for. Maybe the DC (grail) comics are doing better. I’ve seen it before: self-custody and different marketplaces are NOT a guarantee for more interest/liquidity.
Damn, some kind of breach on Candy Digital it seems. They recommend to move your $SOL out of the Candy wallets!
Do it now if you have assets there. Stay safe.

I think it’s just a sign that DC is not taking the space seriously. There’s still so much of trading of Todds alone going on (both on VeVe and StackR) - they’re getting those royalties forever and ever for literally doing nothing. Maybe now under the @Skydance umbrella we’ll see things happening.
OMI Unlimited: this is a lot and I recon it’s nothing compared to what we’ll see by the end of S1 and at the start of S2.
Up, up and away!
