For years, farmers around Umoja ni Nguuvu Community Agroecology School (CAS) in Bugiri district faced exactly that. During the rainy season, roads became impassable, making it difficult to transport produce.
As a result of @ESAFFUG's capacity strengthening through Public Expenditure Tracking Surveys (PETS) model, small-scale farmers successfully engaged local government with evidence, leading to the construction of a motorable community road that improved market access.
