GCSE Results headlines!

Grade 9s increased from last year to 12%
A quarter of all grades received were 9s or 8s.
We saw our highest percentage of grades 9-6 (the equivalent of the old A*-B)
Over 95% of all grades were in the 9-4 range.

Bisley Update:

A valiant campaign from the whole squad. No team award but Reuben (Y10) won the 500 yd Aggregate Elizabethan Challenge Trophy, the Wednesday Aggregate Manchester Regiment Cup and he came 3rd in the Iveagh (500 yd highest individual score over 2 days)! @VCJ_Head

Hidden Histories – Jersey’s Maritime Trade Connections: Students explored the Town Church learning about its rich history and notable artefacts, traced Jersey’s maritime past at the Maritime Museum and ended the day at Fort Regent, reflecting on the town’s development. @VCJ_Head

Day 3 at Absolute Adventures was pretty damp! Despite the rain, some students started off with an impromptu game of volleyball, before a morning on SUPs. In the afternoon they were back out on the water in the kayaks - their resilience was exceptional! @VCJ_Head

Bouley Bay Update: Despite it being a wet day we didn't let it dampen our enthusiasm. Great fun was had paddle boarding and cruising the coast from St Catherine's Breakwater to Rozel in the RIB. One group even saw a seal out towards White Rock! @vcj_head
