On Saturday, we honored 7 year-old Xavier Alanis 💙

Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), Xavier began his treatment at @ChildrensMercy. Along the way, he faced challenges, including an allergic reaction to one of his medications.

Despite the challenges, Xavier’s resilient and courageous spirit never changed. He is now in remission, feeling much better and spending time with his friends and family. His bravery continues to inspire his loved ones and everyone around him to keep moving forward with hope.

Join us in celebrating Xavier—an incredible example of bravery, resilience, and strength.👏

Our Special Olympics Unified squad is joining @SportingKC for their away trip. They'll take the field tomorrow after Sporting's game vs. Real Salt Lake!

Our annual Kick Childhood Cancer game celebrated past @victorykc honorees, their families & some of the incredible providers at @ChildrensMercy 🏥

At just 3 years old, Jaxson Kress was diagnosed with ALL leukemia. After 3 battles in 7 years & as he awaits a bone marrow transplant, his spirit remains strong 💙

On Saturday, we honored Jaxson as our Gameday Honoree & even became an honorary crew member of the USS Kansas City.

The Victory Project teamed up with @shadowbuddies to celebrate 15 years of Pink Parties!

40 girls diagnosed with Turner Syndrome were pampered with hair, nails & makeup while hanging out with Blue and #SportingKC volunteers!

Angel and German showed out at the @MLS Special Olympics Unified All-Star Game! 🌟

German came through with the game-tying goal for the West, and both brought the energy all game long!

We had an amazing time at today’s @SpecialOlympics Unified Sports MLS All-Star Game pres. by @CocaCola.

After 90 minutes of end-to-end competition, the game resulted in a 4-4 draw. @MLS Greats @ChrisWondo, CJ Sapong, and Marco Etcheverry were honorary coaches for today’s match.

Meet Saturday's Gameday Honoree, 13-year-old Beckett Thomas!

After being diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma in 2023, Beckett faced 18 months of intense treatment at @childrensmercy. In March, he rang the bell celebrating the end of his treatment. 💙🛎️

Meet Saturday's Gameday Honoree, 5-year-old Maya Goudy 💙

Maya was diagnosed in March of 2024 with Type B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. While the journey ahead is challenging, her prognosis is very encouraging. She’s currently receiving treatment at @ChildrensMercy, with a plan to complete it by July 2026.

Our Unified squad wrapped up a great week with their first game against Real Salt Lake Unified this past Saturday! 🤩⚽️

Although the game ended in a 1-0 loss, both teams came together in a show of true sportsmanship and love for soccer. Later that evening, both Unified squads were honored during the #SportingKC game vs. Real Salt Lake at Children's Mercy Park.

Meet our honoree from Saturday, 13-year-old Ruby Stirling 💙

After her 13th birthday, Ruby’s routine check-up uncovered a tumor on her thyroid. In December 2024, she had a complete thyroidectomy and, thanks to early detection, she is now in remission!

Let’s cheer Ruby on as she continues her journey 👏
