Great news!
We are proud to announce the signing of contracts with Viking for the construction of two new cruise ships, following the exercise of the options granted and announced in April 2025.
Based on the successful features of the vessels previously built for the shipowner at our Italian shipyards, the new units - which will be positioned in the small cruise ship segment, with a gross tonnage of approximately 54,300 tons and accommodation for 998 passengers in 499 cabins - will be built at our Ancona shipyard and are scheduled for delivery in 2032.
This latest order marks another milestone in our long-standing partnership with Viking and serves as a powerful testament to the excellence and industrial expertise of our Ancona shipyard, further reinforcing a strong collaborations, which now encompasses a total of 28 ships.

On August 5, 1997, Viking began with a simple idea—that travel could be more destination-focused and more culturally immersive. As Executive Chairman Torstein Hagen often recalls, the company started with just 2 guys, 2 mobile phones and 4 river ships.
Since then, Viking has grown into a publicly traded company with a fleet of more than 100 ships exploring all 7 continents.
On behalf of the entire Viking family, thank you for sailing with us. We hope to welcome you back on board soon: https://t.co/imeJuJDIlQ
