We’ve got an exclusive new look at Summer’s Last Resort, the upcoming Tubi comedy starring Sophia Bush, Jerry O’Connell, and Violet McGraw.
The film follows a teenager whose summer getaway spirals into chaos when she’s forced to spend the trip with her mom’s overly enthusiastic boyfriend… who also happens to be her vice principal. Naturally, she decides the only solution is secretly breaking them up 👀

#BLACKPHONE2 is undoubtedly one of the best horror films of the year and that’s no easy feat standing next to the likes of Weapons and Sinners. This is EXACTLY how a sequel should feel. Bigger, badder and brutal(er). Mason Thames is a beast, once again, but freaking Madeleine McGraw was the true standout!!! Y’all are not ready for how insane the grabber is in this one. I’m so excited for the world to see it. Horror is thriving ✨🥰🩸
Black Phone 2 is exactly what I wanted it to be & more. An incredible sequel that not only had me terrified, but also had me crying several times. Where Mason Thames was allowed to shine last time, Madeline McGraw steals the show here. I'm truly blown away. #BlackPhone2
THE BLACK PHONE 2
Scott Derickson's Dream Warriors! Another terrifying emotional ghost tale of past trauma heightened by the pain & beauty of faith. Madeleine McGraw is stellar as the resistance against the darkest of evil. Brilliantly disturbing cinematography & unsettling score
The Black Phone 2 absolutely tears. The Grabber goes from depraved serial killer to full on supernatural menace Freddy Krueger style, looking more and more monstrous in each scene. Madeleine McGraw is a force of nature in the film as well, already excited to see it again.
The Black Phone 2 shattered my expectations. Imagine Sinister colliding with Nightmare on Elm Street—pure nightmare fuel. The Grabber is officially the new face of Blumhouse. Terrifying, thrilling, and relentless. Mason Thames is great, but Madeleine McGraw steals the whole movie and had me in tears by the end. I LOVED every second and I need more evil Ethan Hawke on ice skates! @blumhouse@UniversalPics@BlackPhoneMovie #BLACKPHONE2 #FantasticFest2025 #fantasticfest #thegrabber
Again, I’ll stress, they’re both fantastic, but it also feels necessary to point out that Black Phone 2 feels like the Madeleine McGraw show and, oh my, does she soar with that responsibility. She had some scene stealing moments in the first film but there’s a whole lot more in this one. Gwen’s situation is a lot to shoulder between her dreams, her concern for Finney, and her own blend of fear and determination, and she does it all beautifully.
Allison Williams & Violet McGraw tell us how they played into the camp of ‘MEGAN 2.0’
“Even if you know eventually that the movie will be self-aware and campy at times, you just have to commit to, in the moment, the earnestness and realness of what you're playing.”
5. VIOLET & MADELEINE MCGRAW: Even more favorites in the Collider Interview Studio! Not only are Violet and Madeleine dominating the horror genre, but they’re emerging as major forces in film well beyond it. Cannot wait to see these two soar even higher!
#M3GAN 2.0 star Violet McGraw and her sister #TheBlackPhone2 star Madeleine McGraw played a fun game of "Rate the Scare" with THR in our studio at #SDCC2025
