@elonmusk @farzyness It's because Iranian culture/values are similar to Western culture/values. 3000 yrs ago, women in the Persian Empire had equal rights, equal pay, & even held key government posts. They only lost their rights & became second class citizens after the Arab Muslim Conquest in 651.
