I'm in an interesting situation in life...

I get to work my dream job
I have an incredibly close family
I have some amazing 20+ year friendships
I make enough money to live with freedom
I bought the watch, the car, the apartment

The question is... now what?

I also should mention - I'm not saying those things to brag, I envisioned doing every single one of them years or decades ago, but now that they've been accomplished here I am. Sitting on my couch on a Wednesday night eating popcorn like I did when I was just a 17 year old kid.

Sure I'm proud of myself - but pride is a fleeting feeling. One that I admittedly should try to evoke more often - but it still doesn't answer my question. Now what?

To make matters more interesting I've accomplished these things before my friends who are still questing for one or multiple of the aforementioned points (which they should be - that journey is important). But again I sit here thinking, what now?

What do I want to do? What am I working towards? Sure I have goals, and yes I'm 100% confident I will achieve every one of them - but then I'll find myself here, again, sitting on my couch eating popcorn on a Wednesday night.

This post may sound out of touch, I don't mean to come across as a dick - I just wanted to put these thoughts on paper. At the moment I have three different ideas that could fill my cup - religious exposure, volunteering or a girlfriend. It's funny how as I read them back each of those don't revolve around me. Maybe thats what its all about anyways, maybe once you feel satisfied on your mission its time to help others on theirs. I'm not sure why I decided to write this but it just felt right - I'm still focused on my own goals and that will never change but maybe there's more out there or an interesting challenge for me.

Anyways, thx for reading. Maybe I do this more.
