Here in the Free State of Florida, we protect our kids, our way of life, and our constitution.
As drug legalization marches across America, your state better hope it has a Governor like Ron DeSantis.
Listen to why this Florida medical marijuana dispensary worker is encouraging you to #VoteNoOn3: Amendment 3 shuts out small cultivators, blocks home growing, and hands control to big corporations. Donāt let this be written into our constitution permanently.
Head out to the polls TODAY and #VoteNoOn3!
Amendment 3 isnāt about freedom; itās a power grab by a mega marijuana corporation. They want blanket immunity, no public smoking limits, and a monopoly over the market. Floridians deserve better.
Protect the Florida way of life. Get out to the polls TODAY and vote NO on Amendment 3!
As you head to the polls today, Florida's Lt. Governor @JeanetteNunezFL has a warning for our state: Amendment 3 isn't about freedom, it's about corporate greed. A corporate cartel wrote it, rigged it, and bankrolled it because they want to permanently control the market and change our constitution to give themselves legal immunity.
VOTE NO on Amendment 3 today to defeat the corporate cartel!
We canāt have people smoking weed everywhere in public.
We canāt have the black market, DUIās, or child ER visits that destroyed California.
We canāt have select big weed companies make billions off of a monopoly they wrote for themselves.
Keel Florida Clean. Vote No on 3.
@LauraLoomer Vote NO on 3 or risk your state becoming a hell hole. Public use canāt be safe guarded against under this Constitutional amendment. Floridaās family tourism will decline & it may put everything wonderful about your state in jeopardy.
Amendment 3 did not fall out of a coconut tree. It was crafted by mega marijuana corporations to give themselves complete control over a $6 billion industry in Florida, while also enshrining legal immunity for themselves into our state constitution ā which is effectively permanent. Amendment 3 was written by and for Big Weed, not for the people of our state.
Polls are open NOW. Keep Florida, Florida: #VoteNoOn3.
Changing the constitution is a big deal. Once an amendment passes, itās effectively permanentāand any problems it may create cannot simply be "fixed" by legislation. Before voting on any amendment, itās doubly important to read the fine print, find out how it got on the ballot, and understand the motivations behind these campaignsāfueled by hundreds of millions of special interest moneyāto change our constitution and our state.
Amendment 3 is bankrolled by one Big Weed company that has buried special privileges for itself in the text of the amendment. It's not about freedom, it's about corporate greed.
"The pervasive smell of marijuana in New York City is presenting challenges for co-op and condo buildings as residents complain about smoke and odors." (Happens in buildings with or without smoking bans) #DeSantis is right #Trump wrong. #NoOn3 https://t.co/nqvmaTLcus
Amendment 3 was not designed to give you freedom. It was written by and for Big Weed corporations to seize control over a multi-billion dollar market ā and give themselves legal immunity from liability. This isnāt freedom; itās corporate greed at the publicās expense. #VoteNoOn3
Florida Vote NO on Amendment 3. If you vote to enshrine smoking pot recreationally in the state constitution, the state legislature can't change it in any way. The way the Amendment is written is dangerous and misleading. Vote NO
While talking with @NancyGrace, @FLHSMV's Colonel Howze warns that Amendment 3 would create a "very scary situation" on Florida roads. Drivers already have to contend with enough risks on our roads. Making marijuana more widely available when thereās no reliable Breathalyzer test for it, will only make driving in Florida even more dangerous.
Vote NO to more impaired drivers endangering everyone else on the road. Vote NO on Amendment 3.
IMPORTANT š§µ for FLORIDA VOTERS:
Amendment 3 is bad for Florida:
- Increased car accidents and deaths
- Increased car insurance rates
- Increased underage drug use
- Increased crime
Other states have learned these lessons the hard way.
Don't California our Florida!
