All the numbers and player count and all that nonsense doesn’t matter because at the end of the day the higher ups at bungie wanted to branch out from destiny the same way they wanted to branch out from halo. It was never about the numbers
what message is everyone logging in june 9th meant to send for executives? bungie put a ton of money into this update, they won't be swayed by this. the question was never "can d2 pull numbers for a big release", it was "can d2 consistently pull numbers without a big drop" ...
Do I spend countless hours grinding on WuWa just to lose the 50/50 for Lucy or do I spend countless hours on HSR just to lose the 50/50 for MBlade?????
WuWa definitely has one of the best collab in gacha history OAT, and im glad that lucy atleast got her reunion with David and Rebecca, it might be just a dream for her but to me it isnt it was real. 11/10

Former Square Enix business director Jacob Navok says the company missed a huge opportunity by not following the free-to-play live service model that made Genshin Impact a global success.
Navok said Square Enix “failed to capture a new generation of players” because it stayed focused on traditional full-price game releases while the industry moved toward free-to-play ecosystems built around long-term engagement.
He believes the company should create “modern ongoing free-to-play games” and explore bigger crossover ideas, including collaborations between Final Fantasy and K-Pop.
Navok also said “excessive internal bureaucracy” slowed the company and made it harder to adapt to changes in the gaming industry.
