Fix-it cafe is on at the Whitley Bay Hub. Get your stuff mended for free! Its a sewing special, so bring along clothes and soft furnishings that need mending or minor alterations.
We've also got a free upcycling cafe on where you can make fabric draw-string bag.

Surplus food alert - we had an unplanned delivery from Fareshare today and the food pantry has been quite quiet this afternoon. We have a load of foodstuffs that need to be used today if anyone wants to come for some. We can only display until 2:15 this afternoon.

This Friday, 9th June we are welcoming our friends from @HSBC to help folk with digital education, registrations and may be able to assist with basic enquiries. If you can't make it but would like help, they'll return on 30 June.

Helen and Caron are back this Wednesday to lead a mindful healthy walk around the local area. Meeting at the Big Local building at 10AM and return for a hot drink at 11. Leisurely pace and no need to book. Weather's cool and bright. Perfect!
