7:15am update: A few scattered showers are in the area this morning. Rain coverage stays at about 20% for DFW, but higher south. Severe weather is not expected, but at times heavy rain is possible. #wfaaweather

Scattered rain and a few storms expected Monday with highest coverage south of the metroplex. Some heavy rain is possible. The main chance of rain for the Dallas-Fort Worth area is in the morning. Isolated rain could pop back up in the afternoon mainly near Dallas and east.
