After 41 years of service to New York City, Rescue 3 Lt. Mickey Conboy worked his final tour with the FDNY on May 15.
A native of the Bronx with family ties to public service, Lt. Conboy responded to some of the most challenging moments in FDNY history. He built a career defined by courage, mentorship and an unshakable sense of duty.
Thank you, Lieutenant, for four decades of service, sacrifice and dedication to the FDNY and the people of New York City. We wish you a happy well-earned retirement!

At approximately 8:30 this morning heavy fire fire in the rear one 2nd and 3rd floor of a multi family home on Train st Dorchester, a 2nd alarm was ordered.
Battalion Chief Bobby Meuser joined the Department in 2006. In 2017, he received the Albert S. Johnston Medal for rescuing trapped civilians at a 3- alarm fire in the Bronx. His love for the FDNY has motivated him to rise through the ranks to become Deputy Chief. He will be promoted at a ceremony on Monday.

Our dogs are trained to sniff out ignitable liquids and help rescue victims from large-scale disasters. Most recently, the Unit was tapped to make sure there were no people trapped under the rubble of that partial building collapse in the Bronx.
All dogs in the unit are named after fallen members. Let’s get to work!
At approximately 4:45 heavy fire on the rear porches of a 6 family home at 378 Centre st. Dir. the fire has extended to the adjacent 6 family this is now a 3 alarm fire all companies are working.
