There is currently a road closure in place on Church Hill, E17 whilst the fire service deal with a damaged roof to a property in the vicinity. This is likely to be in place until tomorrow morning (Tues 11 August). Drivers are advised to use alternative routes at this time.

⚠️ Please be aware the barrier crossing at Highams Park BR Station (E4) is currently closed following a road traffic accident.

The council and partners have opened a rest centre for people who have been evacuated from their homes because of the fire in the Wood Street area. It is Walthamstow Central Library, High St, E17 7JN. Please share this information to anyone you know who is affected.
