At 10:50 this morning we received a call to a commercial building fire on Dunhams lane in Letchworth - 6 pumps attended from @baldock31firest @HitchinFire1 @roystonfire @WGCGreenWatch and Stevenage all attended. As well as the Aerial ladder platform (ALP) from Stevenage.

@WGCGreenWatch attended a flooding at a premises on Andrewsfield, WGC. The flooding was effecting electrics. Crews isolated water and power making scene safe.

@WGCGreenWatch crew attended a motorbike on fire off Ascots Lane, WGC. Crew used 1 hose reel to extinguish the fire. 🚒

0959 - Fire Control received a call to a small deer stuck in fencing on Deerswood Avenue, Hatfield. A crew from @WGCGreenWatch attended and released the deer from the fence #allcallsstartwithcontrol

After a week of being deployed it is now time to begin the recovery & repatriation of all the @HVPCapability assets so they can be sent back to their Fire Services. This is one of the most important parts of the whole deployment and is often not planned for. #knockoffmakeup

Thankfully just a false alarm this time! A resident had burnt his pizza setting off the communal alarm for the building, when cooking keep your kitchen door closed if possible and have a window open to provide fresh air and ventilation 🙂 @HertsFRSControl
