Okay so hear me out

40 yards out, in the fairway. Game recommended a wedge. Common sense said use a wedge. I used my putter

I tried it, it worked, end of discussion. Not every problem needs a wedge. Sometimes you just need a putter and a bit of faith. Was I wrong in doing this?
