@PeterWallaceAU Everything will be fine. It is definitely good to be busy and I’m living my best life surrounded by my family and watching them grow up into wonderful human beings. I am incredibly blessed.
Yes, lately my life has been a whirlwind.
A few health challenges and many, many baseball and soccer games to attend to watch my grands.
Also, I have a joint venture in a vacation rental property that has required quite a bit of my time.
Nevertheless, although I have not commented much lately, I enjoy reading your posts, Peter 😉
@penguins@FriedgeHNIC This press conference literally did not give us any concrete information about anything.
His general Suming up the season we already were aware of since we sat there and watched all 84 games plus.
Waste of Time
Any professional team is only as good as their fan base and they only exist because the fans financially support them and fill the seats.
Yes, we all want a winning team, but there are favorite players that cannot just be thrown away because algorithms and statistics figure that are too old slowing in productivity, etc.
Evgeni Malkin is a first round future Hall of Famer who has a huge fan base and he has still proven that he can put the puck in the net when others can’t that are much younger than him. Resigning him for a year and letting him have a proper goodbye to his fans all over the country is only fitting and it’s what the fans want for the most part.
I’m a ride or die penguins fan for life, and this season has been exciting and satisfying to a lot of us. We look forward to what the penguins will achieve this coming season.
Give Geno what he deserves… One more year
Your analytics are fairly accurate, but you are forgetting one of the most important things in regard to this team.

Totally agree.
In addition, the after the buzzer hits on Sydney should’ve also been addressed and disciplined.
The officiating was subpar throughout the series, and it seems to be that way across the entire league.
The NHL needs to get their crap together and demand better officiating .
