Wow I only missed one post, it seems like more. This week we made pickled carrots, I hope every one got to try one. Last week we made pesto!

[WhisKids @WhisKids]

Catch up! This week, a lovely, protein packed salad with garbonzos and salami, full recipe; whiskids.blogspot.com. Last week was tortillas!

[WhisKids @WhisKids]

Due to the holiday on Monday, both classes will meet on Tuesday, June 2nd. The current plan is to do some kind of pastry. Savory or sweet??

[WhisKids @WhisKids]

This week we made quesadillas. Not really much of a recipe to share, just throw some cheese, etc. into a tortilla and slap in on la plancha!

[WhisKids @WhisKids]

French toast this week. Another one that is tough to get kids to eat. OK, maybe not. At least there is some protein in the eggs and milk.

What kid doesn't love grilled cheese? OK, so that is not a tough sell. Still it was a lot of fun and good practice of our knife skills.

[WhisKids @WhisKids]

I can't believe I forgot to post last week. Especially because it was great to see kids devouring the veggies, and the dip is so healthy too!

[WhisKids @WhisKids]

It was a messy one this week but everyone had a lot of fun making pasta! The pici go great with a red sauce, especially a thick, meaty ragu.
