Amazing effort by our yr 7 girls football team this afternoon as they progress to the semi-final of the Essex Cup with an emphatic home win. ⭐️ player - all of them. @BCHSupdates#LifeAtOsborne#LoveBCHS
We’ve just made the switch to Satchel One as a school, interested to know how other departments use it to its full potential? Is there a way of sending out fixture information to parents? @Planet_PE@peclassroom@pe_enthusiast
@pe_enthusiast@IAnsonC@afPE_PE We’ve tried to incorporate a balance over recent years. Races going on the track, tug of war, frisbee, penalty shootouts, giant jenga going on around the outside, lots of activity for all
Does anyone run residential trips for A-Level Kayaking or rock climbing? Looking to plan one for the first time and pick the brains of someone who has done it previously.
So proud of these boys tonight. Some excellent performances at the MESSSA rugby 7s competition after a year without any competitive rugby against some top class opposition. @BCHSupdates#LoveBCHS#LifeAtOsborne
@mcardle1978@pe_enthusiast @leading_in_Ed We do this and students love it, four 7-a-side matches happening at once between 2 schools, 60+ students get to represent their school and stay engaged in football trianing as they know they’ll have a chance to represent the school, it’s my favourite fixture
@pedoughty@pe_enthusiast We had a massive issue with this a few years back, made p6 compulsory for yr 11s (across the school not just PE) resulted in students not doing any work in class because they’d think they could do it after school
Moderation this week felt like my first again, all those years ago, after a couple of years off. But the kids smashed it and did themselves proud. Now for a chilled weekend 🏉👨👩👧🍺
