When safety training isn’t available in your language, it puts everyone at risk. Workers who use sign language often face communication barriers on the job, especially in fast, moving, or hazardous environments.
Everyone deserves a safe place to work and to be heard.
It's National Hispanic Heritage Month! We celebrate the incredible contributions of Hispanic and Latino team members who help build a stronger, safer workplace every day.
Safety and health are values we all share. By working together, we create a safe environment.
Join us this Thursday for our FREE Legal Advice Clinic.
The clinic is held on the West Side at Our Lady of Hope, on the corner of Lafayette and Grant from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

Temporary workers have the right to:
Be free from discrimination — from both the employment agency and the host employer.
Receive the same safety training as permanent employees doing similar work.
Be paid at least the minimum wage
Let’s break the silence! Construction workers face higher rates of suicide than many other professions, but together, we can make a change. Construction Suicide Prevention Week (Sept 8-12) is here to shine a light on mental health struggles and encourage open conversations.
Halfway there! Our FREE 2025 WNYCOSH Working Lens photo class is halfway through! Join us Nov 14th at El Museo Gallery in downtown Buffalo to celebrate union workers’ and community members’ artistic talents. You’re invited!
FREE ADMISSION!!
On September 3, 1991, a fire broke out at the Imperial Food Products chicken processing plant in Hamlet, North Carolina. The blaze was caused by a leaking hydraulic line that sprayed flammable fluid near a fryer, igniting a fast-moving fire.
At the WNYCOSH Worker Center, we stand in solidarity with workers during Labor Week and every week, advocating for safe workplaces, fair treatment, and the protection of workers' rights.
