Nice work team!
We had a fantastic day getting hands on at the People's Kitchen helping Morwell Neighbourhood House take on food insecurity in the Valley.
We made 160 serves of curried sausages with mash and veggies. A hot, healthy and tasty meal for those doing it tough.
🌍 Happy World Water Day 2025 💧
Nature sustains water, and water sustains nature. Water utilities provide essential services that support community health and wellbeing by delivering safe drinking water and managing wastewater.

📢 The release of the National Performance Report this week should provide a strong wake-up call to #governments and regulators & confirms WSAA’s concerns that constraining #water#investment and prices risks #Australia sleepwalking into a water #crisis.

New interim report | Australia’s circular economy: Unlocking the opportunities
The PC's interim inquiry report into the #CircularEconomy finds that despite increased efforts from business, government and the community, progress towards a more circular #economy has been slow.
UPDATE: as at Thursday 6 March, 1:00pm
We understand that the changing conditions of the impending cyclone can cause a lot of anxiety in the community. This is what we know based on Bureau of Meteorology current modelling.
🌀 The cyclone will make landfall later on Friday 7 March.
💨 Damaging winds prior to landfall could impact our community from Friday morning. Be prepared by:
- Securing loose outdoor items
- Ensuring your yards and gutters are clean
- Trimming trees and branches
🌧️ Rain will follow and get heavier into the end of the week which could cause flash flooding. Flash flooding can be caused from creeks overflowing, places that cannot cope with the pressure of the heavy rain or overland flow from properties.
💧 Depending on how much rain we receive, riverine flooding can occur.
🌊 Storm surge is not a significant risk to Logan.
The safest place to be when the cyclone makes land is in your home. Please stay there unless it becomes unsafe or unliveable. We will continue to keep the community updated as conditions progress.
