GOAT? How about the Mt. Rushmore of WSER for Men and Women?
Men:
Walmsley, Jurek, Twiet, King
Women:
Trason, Dauwalter, Kimball, Austrheim-
Smith
Note: Gordy gets his own statue. Greenwood could be in place of Bjorg.
Your thoughts?
I had a fantastic time today recording a podcast with Borderlands debating who is the men’s @wser GOAT, my opponent Wolfie took the @walmsleyruns side and I took the @ScottJurek side. Who do you think won? Who do you think should win? There is no contest on the women’s side.
Reminder: WSER has a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Any athlete who has been determined to have violated anti-doping rules or policies is ineligible for entry into the WSER.

@Eternalrunnercp I’ve never been able to enjoy Twizzlers. I try every year but it’s not happening. Nerds are my jam. Tootsie Rolls are so underrated as well.
@MattDaniels480@ameliaboone@JamilCoury I’m happy they served you well Matt. I still remember your WS debut. While WS chews up and spits out talented runner every year, your training and respect for the event/course lead to a pretty remarkable run. Cheers.
@garyaronhalt @00joeuhan@wser @BlowupArch Joe knows who I am. I wouldn’t ridicule without being able to be both accountable and defend my position. We’ve begun a private discussion, which admittedly, is where I should’ve started. Appreciate your comment Gary.
@garyaronhalt @jasonkoop@00joeuhan@wser @BlowupArch I believe this is a good idea! I’ve never had an issue with giving critique to the race, as I’ve offered plenty of my own. My issue, which I displayed poorly, was to the vagueness of an actual set of ideas or solutions to improve it.
