A picture from Tuesday nights game between Midlands Boys MBFC and Sands United Solihull. Keeper Matt Haywood plucks this bull out of the air from in front of two MBFC players. Although 0-1 at the half the ground and 2 games in 3 days took it's toll later to finish 0-6

My first game since December this past weekend. Bromford Lions Colts were hosting Sands United Solihull. This shot has the Sands #16 avoiding a tackle from the Bromford player. Unfortunately Sands lost this one by 8-2 but with everyone being a bit rusty it was good to get back

Back to sport on Sunday with soccer being the first game of the year for me. This one is from the last game before lockdown Sands United Solihull V Hampton Lyndon DC. Hopefully the weather gods will be kind.

This shot is from one of my final pre lockdown games. Glad to see that training can gradually resume now so that there will be some games this year.
In this University game the Birmingham Lions #14 having avoided one challenge now has the Nottingham Gold #2 bearing down on him.

As I understand it we can now start to run equine sessions again in England including socially distanced group sessions . If you are interested in having a photoshoot with your horse during the summer why not check with the yard owner and if they are ok with it drop me a message

I love clients to have printed work to look at. I have added a new album, the favola, which is a leather or leatherette cover surrounding pages of hand made Amalfi paper. It really does look the business. Ask me about it when you book your session.

To all my horse owning friends. How do you have the pictures of you and your horse displayed around your home, table frame, wall print, album or just a print in your purse / wallet?

After being restricted for most of the last year I got to thinking about what I would have liked to try out during that time One would have been an equine shoot in what little snow we had in the Midlands. The other was shooting some sort of eventing, show jumping or cross country

It's time to put the clocks forward again in the UK. This is a quick note to all those photographers like me who forget to change their date and time on the camera to account for daylight savings time.
"Put the camera forward an hour today unless you keep it to UTC"

The last 12 months has been horrendous for most people. It's been impossible to see family and friends, get out and play sports or follow your hobbies.

Peoples mental health is suffering from this and with home educating children on top I don't know how
