Thank you, @ahfrwanda, for convening this important dialogue. Menstrual health is fundamental to health, education, dignity, and gender equality. Let's continue breaking the stigma and ensuring every girl and woman has access to the information, water, sanitation, and menstrual products they need to manage their periods with dignity. ๐
Menstrual health has been a greatly overlooked SRHR issue, yet over 300 million women and girls menstruate every day. AHF Rwanda and partners held a dialogue on menstrual hygiene, highlighting challenges that affect the health, dignity, and well-being of girls and women.

Yesterday, we came together as a team to reflect on our work, discuss the challenges, celebrate our achievements, and discuss the road ahead in our all staff meeting. As part of the meeting, we also had the opportunity to strengthen our financial well-being through an insightful personal finance session delivered by our partner, SONARWA Insurance, equipping staff with practical knowledge for better financial planning. The day concluded on a joyful and heartfelt note as we celebrated colleagues with June birthdays and bid farewell to team members embarking on new journeys. We thank them for their dedication and contributions and wish them every success in the future.
๐ Menstruation is natural, and every girl deserves the knowledge, support, and dignity to manage it safely. By breaking stigma and encouraging open conversations, we can help girls thrive at school and beyond. Have you ever experienced a situation during your period that made you feel uncomfortable, like Agnes did? Feel free to share your story and help break the silence around menstrual stigma.
