CANCELLED. The reach of my social media accounts is drastically curtailed now. Posts are actually removed sometimes (direct censorship) and, sadly for me, I am no longer able to broadcast. Every time that I am booked for a show (and that happens far less often than it did), it is cancelled shortly before transmission and usually after I have expended much effort in research. For record, my troubles began when I started defending shooting in the 80 and 90s, and got a call from a very senior figure in BBC News. He noted that if this continued "the phone won't ring as often" (regarding my then routine broadcast work on security and defence). It didn't. I sealed my own fate in the covid era by speaking up about my own terrible experience (blood clot etc.) of the Asrtra Zeneca vaccine. I am now more or less totally cancelled in the bigger news world. Some things get though here to a few people, some don't get seen at all. There is massive limitation by algorithmic or other process. Previously human controllers removed a significant amount of my perfectly legitimate content. I have been in touch with Index on Censorship and others with no effect. It rather like being a writer in the old Eastern Block. At least my typewriter isn't licensed (yet).

When Boris resigned, wasn’t it @andyburnham that said if a PM resigns we should have a general election? Any resignation or death of an elected MP or PM should trigger a local election for MP’s or a general election for PM’s. All these coups and resignations seem contrived to me.

@MozPerkins Caught Doreen our resident muntjac near the foxes food bows on our trail cam. They’re great bits of kit. I think one of the other muntjacs, we call him wonky prong or venison will be coming to dinner soon! (I have a new rifle! 😬 Creedmoor 6.5) 😋

@MustafaSensayu1 Yeah, they killed him though! I get the sentiment though! We should all try and get governments to work for the people and unite the country instead of trying divide and bankrupt the people for the benefit of the few.

Support local farmers. Buy in season, buy local wherever possible. Petition your local MP to reverse the killer farm inheritance tax. So many farms are wealthy on paper & have kept on farming despite making little profit as it’s the family business, it’s a threatened way of life.

Driving through rural Lincolnshire this morning & seeing all of the farmers hard at work providing for us, makes me think how lucky we are to have them.

I find It so disappointing that they aren't treated better by the government and supermarkets.

I find it equally disappointing that we are losing prime farming land to wind farms & solar farms.

We would be absolutely lost without our farmers.

Support your farmers, buy local wherever possible.

Exciting day today! Visited the London Proof House with Manor & Co Gun and Rifle Makers to have my new rifle proofed! It passed, so off for blueing tomorrow which will take our barrel man about a week. Hope to have the big unveil at the next club match! 😁🤗 Thanks Gerry! 🥰
