As the result of a July 2024 court-ordered access ban, Wattpad is currently not available in Türkiye.

Our teams continue to explore all possible paths to restoring access to the region. As of February 2025, we have appointed a local Turkish representative to support our engagement with local Ministries and restore Wattpad in Türkiye.

We love our Turkish community and are committed to finding a solution to restore Wattpad. We are deeply thankful for your patience and understanding as we work through this process.

We’re aware that Wattpad is currently not available in Türkiye and can confirm this is a result of a court-ordered access ban.

Our teams have been working since July to find a solution. Our initial legal challenge to lift the ban was rejected by the Turkish courts, but we aren’t giving up.

We have now launched a second legal challenge and are exploring all options to engage with local authorities and restore Wattpad in the region.
