@LashaeJone40886@EddieGonzales@Mr_G503@X_fightss He did not throw it at her. He dropped it in her lap when she refused to take it then she tossed it out the window. It went downhill from there with much, not all, of it being her fault.
Repairs are being paid for from collection of national park fees users pay. My understanding is currently there is near $70M is available for use on DoI projects. Department of Interior does not need Congressional approval to spend those funds on national park repairs on approved government contracts.
@EddieGonzales Open container is not a traffic violation per se as it falls under Texas Penal Code § 49.031 and texting falls under Texas Transportation Code § 545.4251 and is not an arrestable offense in itself.
Actually in Texas, per Texas Transportation Code Chapter 543.005, the officer could have arrested her for not signing the ticket. He was willing to walk away without her signing, but she chose to excalate by berating him and tossing the ticket out the window. Arrest is extreme, but some times a person needs/earns that level of response.
Actually in Texas you must sign and accept the ticket copy. Per Texas Transportation Code Chapter 543.005, the officer could have arrested her for not signing the ticket. Your signature is not an admission of guilt, but rather a promise to appear in court. Kelsey Mitchell is a good player, but not one a team should be built around. She was drafted in 2018 and the Fever never had a winning season. Then in 2024 they drafted Clark and they go 20-20. Last year a winning record and a playoff run. This year would be better if CC was focal point and Mitchell decided to pass a bit more instead of high dribbling, failing drives. She needs to mover better without the ball and let it come to her instead of forcing it like she does too many times a game.
Last time I checked President Trump is the President of neither Israel nor Iran. They kind of do what they want no matter what President desires. Maybe you would prefer we light up Iran with bombs again and send in a Marine MEU and Army Division. Seems like a wast of US servicemen's lives and slow and steady pressure could/should net the desired result no matter when the other two countries do in that timeframe. #FactsMatter except to the liberal left and its morons with a platform.
@iriscentral_ Reese is a trash defender in the open. If she is more than 10 feet from the rim she is soft. And watch the game a little closer. She is always slow/late transitioning from offense to defense, especially if she is down near the paint on the offensive end.
@LMillerInATL@rntCANELA Same thing that happens to anyone in any sport transitioning from NCAA to pros... Players at each position are better, game is faster paced and fewer touches in most cases.
Not sure what some of the people in the comments are watching, if they even are. CC is one of the best ball handlers in the league. TO's heavily weighted by mishandles by her team mates and refs calling ticky-tack offensive fouls. She typically up against the other teams best defenders and faces a lot of double teams so shooting will suffer at times. And untill she gets into fould trouble her defense is on par with anyone's in the league. I am not even a Fever fan, but I can see she restrained somewhat by the system there in Indy. All this and she still stats in top five/ten/twenty in most categories.
@FFT1776 Death penalty is not an option here in Texas as he was 17 at the time the crime was committed. Life is most severe penalty that can be applied.
@Roadking0222 I feel you pain brother. Our youngest one lost her fight with kidney failure today. This was just a few minuted before we headed to the vet.
@wbbmayer Now fill in the blanks... Where in the game was this and was CC sitting on 4 or 5 fouls having to play soft in order to avoid a ticky-tack cheap one she seems to get hit with all-to-often.
Is sad you are making the 250 year milestone of this great nation a political matter. I am a 65 year old veteran who served so you can be you, but this is just wrong. When did American citizens start becoming so spinless that they let themselves be manipulated like this. I may lean to the right a small amount politically, but I do listen to music. Yours just happens to now be dropped from my playlists. I love you music but it now feels tainted. Goodbye and good luck.
So you do not really know. The ENTIRE reflecting pool base, including any remaining granite, was torn out and replaced with engineered concrete slabs and a watertight concrete system laid over timber piles driven into the subgrade back in 2011-2012 during the first Obama administration. Bottom has been concrete grey ever since.
