No obstacle will stop our crews! One team in North Kingstown ran into a challenge when they couldn’t reach a pole because of massive snow drifts. So they did what they do best: they climbed.

We’re almost there, and we thank everyone for their patience!

Snow is piled high. As you dig out, please keep gas meters and vents clear of snow and ice. Use a broom-- no sharp tools. Don’t pile snow against meters. Use caution with icicles. If you smell gas, leave immediately with everyone (including pets) and call 911 or 800‑640‑1595.

High winds caused a tree to come into contact with power lines. Thanks to the Portsmouth Fire Department for coordinating with us to extinguish the fire, so we could repair the line. This is a powerful reminder of why staying clear of downed wires and storm damage is critical.
