Brilliantly bought by Luke Lillingston for just 60,000gns from Book 3 at Tattersalls last October. Now a winner of £429,000 in prize money, nearly seven times his purchase price, and responsible for a journey his owners will never forget.

Night In Vegas has taken us to Ascot twice, winning on debut before finishing fifth in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. He’s taken us to Goodwood twice, winning on his second start before finishing third in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes.

He then landed the £200,000 Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes at Newmarket and has now added the Weatherbys £300,000 2-Y-O Stakes at Doncaster.

In many ways, he epitomises what Kennet Valley has been about for almost four decades: small, select syndicates of just 16 shares, buying a handful of yearlings each year with an emphasis on quality, value and finding horses capable of targeting valuable prizes on the biggest days!

And there are still some lofty targets to come, including a possible run at Champions Day back at Ascot in October!

Bred by @mntarmstrong the son of Lucky Vega @YulongInvest @IrishNatStud is one of six winners out of a half-sister to champion sprinter Slade Power (pictured).

Night In Vegas was purchased by @lukelillingston/@KennetValleySyn for £60k gns @Tattersalls1766 Book 3.
Luke also purchased Calendar Girl - the winner of last year’s race for the same owners!

He lines up in the £300k @weatherbysltd 2yo Stakes over 6½f @DoncasterRaces (1.50pm), with 17 runners set to go to post.

Drawn 6, the same stall our Calendar Girl won from last year, with Charlie Bishop back in the hotseat.

The extra half furlong shouldn’t be an issue and, on the form of his recent victory at Newmarket he sets the standard. He also receives weight from all but two.
