It is always a pleasure to be among friends and this event gave me the chance to not only share our progress from the 2026 Session and respective special session efforts, but to see the people that my projects and bills impact directly. Thank you to the Daytona Regional Chamber.
🚨 BREAKING: FLORIDA LEGISLATURE FORMALLY APPROVES ABOLISHING PROPERTY TAXES for most primary homeowners statewide
Both chambers RESOUNDINGLY pass Gov. Ron DeSantis’ proposal, SENDING IT TO VOTERS for approval this November
LET’S GO!!! ☀️👏🏻
Needs 60% of voters this fall.
Florida is MAKING HISTORY!
The homestead exemption will surge up to $250K to start, and a schedule will set its elimination in the future
However, MOST homeowners will already get effective 0 taxes under the proposal.
DO IT NATIONWIDE!
Gov. candidate @ByronDonalds says he’ll keep pushing for prop tax relief if the current special-session effort stalls or fails with voters — potentially using 2027 Taxation and Budget Reform Commission to revisit a full homestead repeal or targeted relief for seniors/working families.
A few minutes of our recent chat, here:
🚨 NOW: Sec. Marco Rubio just broke out into full SPANISH MODE, ripping the Communist Cuban regime and sending a message DIRECTLY to the people
DOWN WITH COMMUNISM 🇺🇸🇨🇺
"The reason you are FORCED to survive without electricity is NOT an oil blockade by America...no electricity, fuel or food is because the people who control it have PLUNDERED billions of dollars, but NOTHING has been used to help the people!"
"30 years ago, Raúl Castro founded a company called GAESA. This company is owned by the Armed Forces and operated by them, and has income three times higher than the current budget of his government!"
"Today, while you are suffering, these entrepreneurs have $18 billion in assets and control 70% of Cuba's economy."
"They obtain profits from hotels, constructions, banks, stores, and even the money that their relatives send them from the United States."
"Everything, everything goes through their hands. From those remittances, they retain a percentage, but nothing comes to you from the profits of GAESA."
"Instead of using the money to buy oil, like all other countries in the world, they depended on Hugo Chavez and Maduro's free oil to keep the money. But now that they no longer receive free oil, they buy fuel for their generators and their vehicles, while the people are asked to sacrifice themselves."
"If owning your own business and having the right to vote is possible around Cuba, why is it not possible for you inside Cuba? In the United States, we are ready to open a new chapter in the relationship between our people and our countries!"
"And right now, the only thing that gets in the way of a better future is those who control their country."
I am happy to share that my bill, CS/HB 35, was signed by Governor DeSantis last week. This bill will help keep Florida drivers safe on our roads.
Thank you to Jess Washington, mother of Isaiah, for bringing this idea to my office and trusting me to run the bill. (1/2)
I was happy to attend the Ribbon Cutting for Halifax Health’s new expansion at the Medical Center at Deltona today!
Thank you to President and CEO Jeff Feasel, Stephanie Wohlford, and the Halifax Health team for putting on this event!
It was amazing to be back in the Capitol for Organizational Session and the swearing in of the 92nd Florida House of Representatives. I am grateful to have been re-elected to serve this State!
I am also so thankful to have my wife, Silvia, by my side in Tallahassee this week!
I had a great time today attending the Tiger Bay Legislative Update with my colleagues from the Volusia Delegation. We are all fighting hard for Volusia County in Tallahassee!
Thank you to Jim Tobin for putting on this event.
I was honored to be invited to attend ABC Central Florida’s State of Construction address, sponsored by iBuild, alongside my colleagues from Tallahassee.
We recognize all of the hard work that these incredible tradesmen and women have dedicated to these programs statewide.
I don't know what President Trump is planning tomorrow.
But he understands the real people of Iran much better than every other world leader. He has clearly learned a lot from having Rubio beside him.
"They have lived in a world you know nothing about."
President Trump: “CNN, fake news.”
CNN’s Kristen Holmes: “Are you willing to make a deal that does not include reopening the Strait of Hormuz, or is that now a top priority?”
Trump: “I would say it’s a very big priority because you see that’s — that’s one thing that’s a little different than other things. We can bomb the hell out of them. We can knock them out for a loop. But to close the Strait, all you need is one terrorist that somehow has a truck loaded with. Because you can carry them in trucks, large trucks, a water mine, drop them in the water. And now you tell people that own ships that cost $1 billion to don’t worry about the mine. You can do that even just by saying, we put mines in the water. So, it’s not like the rest. We can knock out their military. We already have. We’ve knocked out their navy, we’ve knocked out their air force completely. We knocked out 158 ships in three days. We’ve knocked out even their mine droppers. They don’t have any mind droppers anymore, but they put them on other boats and they could drop them. I’m not even sure they have any mines there, by the way. I’m not sure. I’m — personally, they say there might be a — I don’t know, I don’t know, I think there might be none because they’re very good bullshit artists. That’s why, for 47 years, they’ve been bullshitting other presidents and they haven’t done the job. And people are living in hell. You live in that country. They’re living in hell. No, I think that 47 years of this stuff is long enough. They’re at the weakest point they’ve ever been. They have no navy. They have no air force. They have no anti-aircraft weaponry. They have no radar. They have no communication. In fact, the biggest problem we have in our negotiation is that they can’t communicate. I said to Steve, what are they saying? Sir, they can’t communicate. They have no method of communication. So we’re doing we’re communicating like they used to communicate 2,000 years ago with children, bringing a note back and forth. They have no communication. But all I want to see is I want to have a safe world, and you’re not going to have a safe world. Israel will be gone, the Middle East will be gone, and then they’re coming for Europe. And I have to tell you, I’m very disappointed in NATO. Very. I think that NATO, I think it’s a mark on NATO that will never disappear, never disappear in my mind. You know, they’re coming to see me on Wednesday. They’re going to say, oh, we’ll do this. We’ll do that. Now they all of a sudden want to send things, you know. But they said it loud and clear at the beginning when I spoke to U.K., of all I would have said, they would have been the first because they’ve been there, the oldest. And I say, yeah, I’d love to have a little help. I said, no sir, we’d rather wait till you win. I said, I don’t need help after we win. They have two old broken aircraft carriers. Barely work. I said, I guess we can use them. Who the hell knows? I called the general. He didn’t even want them. He said, we don’t really need them. We got. We got the SS Abraham Lincoln, sir. We don’t need them. You know, we have in terms of technology, we had one day, 101 missiles going at 2,700 miles an hour aimed at the Abraham Lincoln, 101 missiles. Out of 101 missiles, 101 missiles were shot down. Unbelievable technology. Ten years ago, five years ago. I don’t know if that would have been possible, but ten years ago, that wouldn’t have been that wouldn’t have been possible. 101 missiles heading to a ship that’s not that far off the coast. And out of the 101 missiles, we shot down all 101. We have weaponry. The Patriots are unbelievable. We have weaponry. That’s unbelievable.”
🚨WATCH: In a jaw-dropping video that's exploding across social media, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio gives an explanation of why the United States needed to strike the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It's barely two minutes long, and it's absolutely unmissable!
@sigmasnacks@realpedroleo@CharlitoCloss@Pasghetti45@BuckeyePolitic1 Is this one really that difficult to figure out? Look at my pictures and take a guess.
The point is that it doesn’t matter because race doesn’t define me.
I am a child of God who is blessed to be an American. That’s my background. That’s the box I check.
I was born in the UK, but I am American as it gets. When I came to this great country, I assimilated- as all immigrants should. I learned the history, adopted the culture, and became an America First Patriot.
I love my country and I’m proud to be an American!
@CocoMango1979 You seem to be uninformed as to the beliefs of the MAGA movement and of my Republican colleagues. I have been treated with nothing but respect by my colleagues in the Party, voters in my district, and by the President himself. I am a proud, unapologetic conservative.
