Loved celebrating my birthday at school. Each class that came in sang to me, a sweet Kinder class made me a sign, and another class made me cards. It was a great day that ended with chocolate cake made by my daughter. 🎂

Ahoy Me Hearties! We had a fun Friday in the Wernli Library. We kicked off Talk Like a Pirate Day with our Future Wildcats. They created their very own pet parrot. Then, our first graders had a special read aloud visit from our namesake Dr. Wernli. @NISDWernli @NISDLib

Kids are AMAZING! Our 4th graders learned about the Texas Revolution and took a field trip to the Alamo, so I said “Let’s build the Alamo in Minecraft Education @PlayCraftLearn. I think I said WOW about 100 times today! @NISDWernli @NISDLib @techcoachsmith
