Western Health’s IT network is now largely back online, following yesterday’s global outage that affected our computer systems.
We temporarily reverted to paper medical records while our IT teams worked to restore our online systems.
Western Health is affected by the IT outage that is impacting computer systems worldwide.
Our staff are trained to respond to IT disruptions. We have implemented a number of back-up processes to minimise impact to patient care.
As always, patient safety is our top priority.
