Today, our Pride staff network marked Transgender Day of Remembrance with a dedicated service in our hospital chapel. Transgender Day of Remembrance, observed on 20 November every year, honours the lives those who have lost their lives as a result of anti-transgender violence.
The BMA trade union representing resident doctors, has announced strike action from 7am Friday, 14 November until 7am Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

Members of staff and volunteers gathered at the West Suffolk Hospital Chapel today for the annual Service of Remembrance. As well as listening to prayers and readings from scripture, there were commitments to strive for peace, and to care for those affected by conflict.
With it being Occupational Therapy (OT) Week weโd like to give a shout out to our amazing teams from across the Trust ๐ Our occupational therapists like Kayleigh help people overcome challenges completing everyday tasks or activities.
