What you see in this seven-minute video is nothing close to what the Pakistani state has been committing against the people of #Balochistan for the last 75 years.

These are limited footage we received during the last 7 days. The Pakistani regime and army attacked the peaceful #BalochNationalGathering organized by the @BalochYakjehtiC.

The military killed many protestors and injured Dozens by indiscriminately firing at the Baloch protesters, including children and the elderly.  The military arrested and forced disappeared Hundreds of them. 

The regime shut down the internet and phone services in many regions, particularly Gwadar and Kech. We still do not know the exact number of casualties and the situation on the ground. 

Also, please listen to the #Chinese Counsel general in this video. He is calling all of this “construction and development.”

After watching this, what do you think the Baloch people should do to defend themselves, their children and their land from the credulities of the Pakistani state and Chinese regime’s expansionist projects.

Shahyaq and Farooq, Baloch students, were forcibly disappeared on May 28 in Quetta. Despite their families’ efforts, the police refused to lodge an FIR. This shows the injustice families face while the law favors powerful agencies.

It is with deep sorrow to hear the tragic assassination of Hidayat Lohar.
Sassi and @Sorath_Latif, brave daughters of Lohar, had previously courageously combated the unlawful abduction of their father, and ultimately achieved his safe release.
Then they went on to become an advocate for all families of missing persons and a strong voice for the oppressed people of Sindh who have been suffering state cruelties, despite facing numerous threats and baseless legal charges.
Sadly, now their father has been ruthlessly murdered.

PAKISTAN: Baloch protestors ended their month-long sit-in in Islamabad against enforced disappearances and unlawful killings after the Pakistani authorities subjected them to repeated intimidation, arbitrary arrests and detentions.
First Information Reports (FIRs) – which initiate criminal proceedings – were filed against protestors across the country. Amnesty International verified at least 13 such FIRs.
On 20 December 2023, when the march reached Islamabad, the police used tear gas, water cannons and batons against protestors entering the city and those at the National Press Club. Subsequently, two FIRs were registered against the protestors in Islamabad by police and as a result, more than 300 protestors were indiscriminately arrested including women, children, students, older persons, and a woman journalist.
