@ManagerTactical Julian Araujo had USMNT in his bio even when news of switch was coming out, he didnโt change it for a while, we put too much stock into things like this
Jalen Blesa has four ๐ต๐น Primeira Liga goals in just over 400 min. Finishing looks impressive, often drifting in from the left like Balogun or Wright. Also hit the post today and had another shot in the box saved
Eligible for only ๐บ๐ธ & ๐ช๐ธ thus could be an easy recruit next cycle
Last 10 matches vs CONMEBOL teams for USA, Mexico & Canada:
๐ฒ๐ฝ: 1 Win 3 Draws 6 Losses
๐บ๐ธ: 4 Wins 4 Draws 2 Losses
๐จ๐ฆ: 3 Wins 3 Draws 4 Losses
๐บ๐ธ>๐จ๐ฆ>๐ฒ๐ฝ (L 3) ๐บ๐ธ3-0๐ฒ๐ฝ 3rd in both World Cup & Copa America groups
Josh Sargent will not see the field tonight. Balo will start and Downs is the backup. Sargents time with the national team this cycle has come to an end.
Iโm going to just throw this out there and I know itโs going to be controversial, but Iโve thought this for years:
Josh Sargent isnโt that good. The abysmal USMNT record thing is fluky. Heโs definitely just had some bad luck and there might be a few mitigating circumstances.
At the same time, people confuse him being a top player in the Championship for him actually being a top goal scorer that can translate it to games against high level competition. The Championship isnโt that.
The Championship is not a top five league in the world. Heโs struggled in two top five leagues in the world. He lacks qualities that really threaten top defenders. Heโs found his level in the Championship. Heโs 25. This is his prime. Of course you hope he can move up to a better league eventually, find a way to succeed where he hasnโt in the past, and also start being more productive for the NT.
I donโt think he needs to be banished for White or Agyemang, but heโs also not as good as you think he is judging him on the goal totals he puts up for Norwich.
