Excited to announce my commitment to KCKCC! Thank you to all my coaches for helping me get to this point and my friends and family for the support! Go Blue Devils!
Tonight at 7 pm catch @WillMorgan54 and East side take on the West side in the 52nd annual Shrine Bowl @KSShrineBowl. You can watch it at https://t.co/KL1NFpA215
Shrine Bowl Player Spotlight: Will Morgan of Blue Valley Southwest will wear number 54 on Saturday for the East Side All-Stars. The 6โ0 235 lb Center/LS was a team captain and All-State pick for Blue Valley Southwest as he accounted for 35 consecutive varsity starts in his career. He allowed 0 sacks in his senior season and was named the teamโs Most Outstanding Player as a center. He was also a standout track and field thrower and holds the school record for shot put. When asked about what the Shrine Bowl means to him, Morgan said, โIt is a great honor to be selected and play in the Kansas Shrine Bowl just like my dad did when he played high school football. It will be a great experience to play with great players from all over Kansas and to raise money for a good cause.โ Morgan will continue his football career at Fort Hays State University in August. #sportsinkansas

I canโt say enough about our Blue Valley Southwest school record holders, โ25 graduates, Karter Skillman, Luke Haskins, and Will Morgan! Your contributions to the program and the mentoring of our younger athletes is greatly appreciated! Good luck in the future!
While the season is still young, and there is more work to be done wanted to shout out @WillMorgan54 for breaking the school record in shot put previously held by his brother Aidan with a mark of 49-6 then followed it up with a mark of 50-3.5!
The video was taken by his grandfather and I thought about muting the video, but sports are the best because it takes a community to reach new heights. I think itโs truly special to get a genuine reaction from parents, grandparents and coaches who have shown up to every meet no matter what and seen you grow into the young man and athlete you have become.
A testimony of setting a goal and achieving it with hard work and determination, Track and Field is the ultimate test of you vs yourself and like the game of life it has its ups and downs, but Will kept his head down and kept working
Proud to call you Coach and like I said there is still work to be done, the peak comes in May with the work we do in March and April!
