To my parents out there, imagine recording a series of first-person videos your kids can watch until the end of time on home maintenance etc. The sky really is the limit and we are still very early.

These are only a few of many great features but these were the most relevant for my life. One wish would be for either Meta or someone to create the ability to stream FaceTime from the glasses like they do for the video call in Messenger and allow music to be played while video is streaming from the glasses.

🕶️ First time making a post like this. I’ve had the $Meta glasses a whopping 3 days and I am pretty impressed with the comfort and utility.

I don’t wear glasses and these felt organic out the box. I take a lot of calls during the day and prefer these over headphones in my ears for hours. The built-in blue light blocker is another underrated gem.

Quick high-level thinking. There are a lot of mixed reviews but, like every other product, there’s a target audience. I feel like these glasses are perfect for people who truly value “capturing the moment” and appreciate the convenience of tech.

Imagine this. A first-person video of your loved one’s signature recipe. Especially for family or friends who don’t measure. Yes, there are GoPros etc. but are you really going to teach your grandparents to wear that? All they would need to do is put on their normal prescription glasses, and press one button or say “Hey Meta, record this”.
