Kenya believes the answer to global uncertainty is not fragmentation, but cooperation; not blocs, but bridges; not exclusion, but partnership.
Africa is not a spectator to these changes. Africa is helping to shape them. The future will not be written for Africa; it will be written with Africa.
Honoured to participate in the Kultaranta Talks alongside President Alexander Stubb and other distinguished leaders, policymakers and experts to discuss the profound transformations reshaping our world.
As power becomes more dispersed, technology advances at unprecedented speed and the world grows increasingly multipolar, the need for stronger multilateralism, more representative global governance and a reformed international financial architecture has never been greater.
Together with President Alexander Stubb of Finland, we addressed the Finland-Kenya Business Forum in Helsinki, where we highlighted the growing partnership between our two nations and the immense opportunities for deeper trade, investment and technology collaboration.
For Finnish companies seeking a gateway to Africa, Kenya offers a dynamic market, an innovative private sector, strong regional connectivity, a stable financial ecosystem and a government committed to digital transformation. Kenya is open for business, investment and partnership.
We urge Finnish, and by extension European, companies to view Kenya not through outdated narratives of risk, but through the reality of our immense potential and the vast opportunities our nation offers.
Kenya’s youthful and innovative entrepreneurs have built a culture of solving real-world challenges with practical, affordable and scalable solutions. The success of M-Pesa stands as a testament to this spirit of innovation and our capacity to develop transformative technologies with global relevance.

These agreements will strengthen scientific collaboration, enhance knowledge exchange and foster innovation-driven partnerships that advance sustainable development and shared prosperity for our peoples.
We also reaffirmed our shared commitment to reforming multilateral institutions to make them more representative, effective and responsive to the aspirations of the Global South.
Additionally, we affirmed our commitment to global peace, the principles of the United Nations Charter, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, and the peaceful resolution of disputes in accordance with international law.
