A sudden spike in cases among the younger generation is sending warning signs that lifting quarantine measures may have been too soon. https://t.co/Z20GXT4JlC
Happy Mother’s Day. Commemorate in the way that will fill your heart whether it is hugging your people or finding quiet time for self care. Or maybe both ❤️

My teenaged son was looking at a teenage photo of me and exclaimed, “This looks just like me!”
As an #adoptee this might be the most powerful thing anyone has ever said to me, especially bc my kids mostly resemble my husband & I don’t know any of bfamily.

@OhioDeptOfAging@LTCOmbudsOH All respect w/commitment to quality: it would be productive to help families understand why they can’t visit, reassure why routine use of face masks for well people is unnecessary in LTC for proper PPE conservation & tips for partnering with staff to keep residents’ spirits up.
@GKsingh100 100% yes: very early so it is always a part of identity. Very important to continue open communication because what each adoptee wants/needs is different. i.e., some want to search for bparent, I did not. I wouldn’t want a “gotcha day” or focus on the difference but some do, etc.

@jrpsaki@SenWarren@WeDemandJustice Access to medical care is an economic issue.
Access to birth control is al also an economic issue.
Abortion is a moral issue.
@anneheffron I don’t consider myself in some kind of fog. That “adoptee fog” narrative is not for me. I’m fully present and aware, especially of my own needs. But I do pull the shards and put them on the table.
@anneheffron This post was extremely thoughtful, and I relate to the analogy of glass shards is so much better than “coming out of the fog” narrative. My Afamily is mine and I love them, never searched for Bparents. But growing up had many unexplainable porcupine moments.
@anneheffron I felt the same but different, prickly and affectionate. My mom thought more hugging, more saying “I love you” would help because she needed it from me. Learned valuable lessons about individuality-what one person needs doesn’t necessarily fulfill another.
Scientists in Sweden have created a liquid that can absorb solar energy and store it as a thermal fuel for as long as 18 years. The fluid works like a rechargeable battery, but instead of electricity, sunlight goes in and heat comes out when it's needed. https://t.co/qLvYhCiQp0
@yrnf This is unbecoming. You don’t have to like candidates from other parties, but you should be respectful. I’m not a Democrat, but I wouldn’t want to be affiliated with this garbage either.
A new report from the CDC finds that Americans who had experienced traumatic events as a child were at a higher risk of dying from 5 of the top 10 leading causes of death. Preventing childhood trauma is critical, public health experts say.

Here are some tips for recycling and avoiding plastic from a former EPA official:
♻️ Only recycle No. 1, No. 2 or No. 5 plastics
♻️ Replace Tupperware with glass containers
♻️ Avoid black plastic — it's made from recycled electronic waste

Seems to me @Browns problem not talent shortage. Look at lack of focus, lack of discipline. How about less time on commercials and shoes, more time on readiness. Freddie, how will you hold them accountable? 🏈

. @SenBobCasey I’m more interested in what you are doing to reunite this child with her parents. Passing blame is useless to this girl. Use your position to help because tweeting ICE is a waste of voice and time.

I have never known a 6-year old to be a threat to national security. @ICEgov, what excuse do you possibly have for breaking up this child’s family and detaining her for four months and counting? This is inhumane, even for this shameful Administration.
