A moving moment on Thursday when students raised the @mcfirstnation flag in honour of #IndigenousHistoryMonth and the Progress Pride flag for #PrideMonth
We are always working towards safer and more caring school environment for everybody.
Pride Month celebrates the histories, courage & diversity of Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, Queer/Questioning, & Asexual communities (2SLGBTQIA+). We commit to improving the well-being of all individuals by dismantling homophobia, transphobia & biphobia.
For the month of June, to honour National Indigenous History Month, all school sites and administrative buildings in the Peel District School Board will fly the flag of the Mississauga of the Credit First Nation.
Heading into this weekend full of gratitude for the professionalism, encouragement & creativity of educators, students & volunteers.
Watching students immersed in unique experiences and then hearing them recount the joy amongst themselves is SO inspiring.
