The G7 ministers meeting in La Malbaie has just wrapped up with agreement on several important points with regard to Ukraine Russia but in a departure from previous meetings they did not call for a two state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. @TheNationalNews
As @HibaNasr first reported sources have told The National that there was a disagreement during the G7 ministers session on the Middle East around a two state solution as well as over the West Bank.
The White House was not swayed by Arab states proposal on Gaza. "The current proposal does not address the reality that Gaza is currently uninhabitable and residents cannot humanely live in a territory covered in debris and unexploded ordnance,” said NSC Spokesman Brian Hughes.
