My Emergency Medicine colleagues are growing tired of telling sick people: no, you can’t get the #CovidVaccine when you have just been diagnosed with #COVID19. It’s too late.
It was a great board meeting last week! Great to have everyone back together!
Today is an important day as the Joint Finance Committee in WI considers the medicaid increase for EM services which was included in the Govs budget. This would elevate us from the worst in the country.
Thanks Representative Born for joining WACEP today to provide insight in to the budget process and how the budget impacts patients and the practice of Emergency medicine!
Thank you for the incredible work you do every day;
for the passion with which you lead;
for your bravery and unyielding strength;
for your sacrifice and hard work to save many lives;
for inspiring us in so many ways every day.
Thank you, EM docs! 🥼🩺

We hope this lighthearted poem, read by doctors from around the country, brings you some cheer. Best wishes and happy holidays from emergency physicians, everyone!
Wisconsin’s frontline healthcare workers are putting it all on the line, spending long hours in a mask and face shield, doing all they can to save lives. They can't do it alone. Please, take preventative measures seriously to help them #STOPtheCOVIDspread. https://t.co/wZZmtafd4N
