Hey @johnn2442 - To set things straight - the dev team or any centralized parties have no ability to mint new tokens.

There is a small amount of inflation per year which is automatically deposited to node operators that help run the chain, and the community members who help vote them in.

The only way to update this system would be a referendum and majority community vote, as this is a core system-level change.

There has been no change in @enjin "tokenomics". Enjin Coin remains "high float".

Token supply will still be 96% unlocked after the final Early Governance Rewards unlock on October 15.

(This was higlighted in the Token Supply Update published June 2024, updating the update last December.)

The "change" in the past 18 months was the launch of Enjin Blockhain itself and the token merge.
