東京に戻り、Ｇ７のエンゲージメントグループの一つであるＷ７（Women7）とＥＵ共催のイベントに参加。議長国としてＧ７での議論と共同声明の中身について説明しました。

Ｇ７男女共同参画・女性活躍担当大臣会合が開幕し、議長として共同声明「日光声明」をとりまとめました。各国代表とは昨年のベルリン会合から議論を続けてきたこともあり、和気藹々とした雰囲気の中で参加国間の課題を共有し、その解決に向けた議論を深めることができました。また、開催地栃木県・日光市のホスピタリティにも多くの賛辞を頂きました。明日もバイ会談やサイドイベントが続きますが、関係者の皆様のご尽力に感謝の気持ちで一杯です。

At the #G7 ministerial on Women’s Economic Empowerment I stated that we must ensure that equal work results in equal pay regardless of sex. Our Pay Transparency Directive will require companies to disclose how much they pay men/women and close the EU’s 13% gender pay gap.
