My doctoral thesis examines psychological harm caused to mothers when their children align with an abusive father. It raises questions about how we might protect the mother/child relationship when it comes under relational strain due to coercive control & will complete in 2027.

Shocking safety service from @AirbnbHelp. Left a French listing after 1 night due to bed bugs and severe fire hazards. Agent Priyanka says it’s fine the host has no smoke alarms (illegal in France) because they are 'new'. Now she's ignoring me.

@AirbnbHelp I am afraid it has gone beyond that now, what I will do is post everything that I receive from AirBnB on here and on my blog which is read by thousands of people around the world. This is a seriously concerning story which involves serious fire safety concerns and public safety.

@AirbnbHelp And now this - your handler is saying it is mandatory to have smoke alarms, but some hosts don't have them, so its important not to go to places without smoke alarms. I think we may be in the twilight zone now. Rest assured my dossier of evidence grows daily.

I went to Dunkirk yesterday with my 15 year old grandson. I was moved to tears by the story of the evacuation, the loss of life, the trauma of those who escaped and the bravery of men and boys. And then I wondered why their tomorrows were sacrificed for the world we live in now.

Because I get to live in a world in which my voice and my opinions are heard and my choices and my decisions are respected. Not just because women fought for those rights but because men and boys fought for the right for us all to live free. Life isn't divided into good and bad.

@rollcagemary8 @AirbnbHelp I got out of there and into a hotel with my grandson, @AirbnbHelp were sadly no help at all and in the kafkaesque world of airbnb customer support, it is unclear whether I will ever get help or even whether they will investigate my photograph and video evidence! Terrible service!

@AirbnbHelp I am in a property without smoke alarms, fire escape or safety lights, it is on the 3rd floor with extremely steep stairs and I have just been told that it is legal by your support team, is this true? I need to leave as it is unsafe and I cannot get anyone to help me.
