The dissertation is submitted and I’ve moved out of my flat on the scores. I’ll be hopping hither and thither for the next few weeks, but hopefully writing again soon, too!
Shoutout to Thorkel the White for having one of the best/worst names ever, and to his wife Leofflaed, who married him anyway.
Rolling into the last few days of dissertation (and then I’ll be back for real, I promise)! For a glimpse of the madness: https://t.co/C73VMheTXs
#WIPFinds 2/17: a romantic location in your wip?
The ridge above the canyon is said to be stunningly beautiful at sunset—just be sure not to stay too long after!
Hey friends! Quick research question(s):
• If you’ve ever gone on a road trip with family or friends, what are some things you’ve learned?
• What’s one road trip hack you’d like to pass on to others?
• Do people *actually* have singalongs on long drives?

#WIPFinds 2/3: unique ways love is expressed in my wip?
Sadie: Floyd insists he “doesn’t care” and that he’s “only tagging along cause he’s bored”, meaning that he’s fully bonded with the group. :)
Floyd: if Shane hands you a reptile he trusts you with his life.
#WIPFinds 1/26: how does one take advantage of a second chance?
Jedidah: by learning from your past mistakes.
Shane: that was ONE time!
Jedidah: yeah, and I learned.
#WIPFinds 1/19-1/20: who would thrive most with a 2nd chance; is there a location that needs a second chance?
Floyd didn’t think he needed a second chance until after he’d been given one.
Idumea definitely needs a second chance!
