We are proud to partner with @ManhattanDA Bragg and @NYSDOLCommish. This victory proves that when workers organize and government stands with them, we can hold employers accountable and deliver justice. ✊🏾🌹❤️
✊🏽 Victory! Construction workers recovered $67,000 in stolen wages for 10 former KEP Construction employees. Thanks to @ManhattanDA Alvin Bragg and @NYSLabor for standing with workers and delivering justice.
We honor the courage of workers who organized and won.
Justice has been served for NYC construction workers cheated out of hard-earned pay. Wage theft is unacceptable. Thank you to @ManhattanDA for partnering with @NYSLabor to protect our workforce. If you’ve been underpaid, come forward—we have your back.
An honest day’s work deserves an honest day’s pay. Today we were joined by @NYSLabor and @workersjusticep to return over $60,000 in stolen wages to 10 former KEP construction employees!
✊🏽 Yesterday’s victory! Four construction workers and @workersjusticep’s members recovered $2,000 in stolen wages through organizing and direct action.
When workers organize and fight together, we win! 💪🏽❤️
✊🏽 ICYMI | May 2026: 30+ house cleaners won back $28,000 in stolen wages!
Alongside @workersjusticep , @QueensDAKatz + @NYSLabor , domestic workers organized and fought back, holding employers accountable.
When workers organize, we win! 💪🏽❤️
Huge congratulations to Carlos Ortiz, @helloDCWP’s Chief of Staff & Deputy Commissioner for External Affairs, on this well-deserved recognition as one of NYC’s rising political stars! Thank you for standing with deliveristas and fighting alongside us for workers’ rights.
Congratulations to DCWP’s Chief of Staff and Deputy Commissioner of External Affairs, Carlos Ortiz, for his inclusion on @CityAndStateNY's 40 under 40 list!
🚲Today is 10-9: Bike Messenger Appreciation Day!
NYC runs on these workers delivering everything from clothing to medication to groceries.
We are so grateful to organizations like NYC Bike Messenger Assoc. and @LosDeliveristas for advocating for and organizing the industry.
Today is Bike Messenger Appreciation Day!
From LDU, we honor and thank every NYC bike messenger who rides through all conditions to keep our city moving, reduce emissions, and ease traffic.
Special shoutout to NYC BMA and all messengers out there. Solidarity always!
Delivery workers are an essential part of our street ecosystem, and their voices need to be heard as we develop solutions.
Last week, we testified on how our historic delivery worker deactivation protections, championed by @LosDeliveristas, will help keep our City safe.
The #GigEconomy is reshaping work, esp. for young workers.
New @CUNY/@workersjusticep study found 53% of delivery workers reported injuries, 40% severe psychological distress, & 52% feared deactivation for working too slowly.
As work changes, protections must too. Study below↓
And of course, there would be no victory without the @LosDeliveristas leaders who organized and sounded the alarm on DoorDash.
This has been a worker-led fight from day one—and we’re grateful for the @workersjusticep’s partnership.
Today was a long day. We were at City Hall from 10 a.m., standing together and making sure delivery workers’ voices were heard.
Around 100 delivery workers came to testify and speak about the realities we face every day on the streets.
In my testimony, I made one thing clear: workers must be part of the solution. We want safer streets, but we also need safe delivery zones, protected bike lanes, secure bike parking and charging stations, and strong labor protections that allow us to work without being forced to take unsafe risks.
We left City Hall tired, but proud. We showed up, we spoke up, and we made our voices heard.
✊🏽 @LosDeliveristas@workersjusticep
Today at @NYCCouncil, 150+ Deliveristas waited all day to be heard on 20+ micromobility bills that FAIL to address our urgent needs or the root causes of unsafe streets.
@NYCCouncil: We share the goal of safer streets, but today’s package FAILS to center workers’ needs. ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
NEW REPORT: Driven by Algorithms exposes how delivery apps put deliveristas at risk.
At @LosDeliveristas, we know street safety is worker safety. We demand real protections, safer streets, & a voice in shaping the policies that affect our lives. 1/5👇🏾

🚨BREAKING: New CUNY & WJP report finds 53% of NYC Deliveristas report work injuries, 40% severe psychological distress & 52% fear deactivation. 80%+ say apps control their pace, routes & hrs.
@NYCCouncil must address these issues—not target Deliveristas with NYPD.
A new report by the CUNY School of Public Health is the first comprehensive look at the occupational risks faced by delivery workers since New York City implemented sweeping reforms for the industry.

This victory is five years in the making. @LosDeliveristas organized to win new rights, hold apps accountable, and build worker power—with @helloDCWP - @NYCMayor working alongside us to make government work for workers.
Today, we Deliveristas are out here working while many New Yorkers prepare to stay home as a nor’easter brings heavy rain, strong winds & coastal flooding.
If you order, please TIP generously, be patient & give us 5 stars.
Shout-out to women Deliveristas like Maritza.
#ICYMI DCWP secured the LARGEST labor enforcement action in NYC history!
We’re putting money directly into more than 260,000 workers’ pockets.
