FS1 have been making gingerbread people this week ready for Christmas!🎅 All the children measured and combined the ingredients, rolled out the dough, cut the biscuits out then decorated! They smell and taste delicious!🍪

What a week FS1 have had celebrating Diwali! A parent came in to show us family Diwali photos and taught us the story of Rama and Sita, we learnt a dance and made our own Diya lamps🎆

So lovely to have our FS2 parents at our phonics stay and learn this morning. We taught our grown ups all about phonemes, graphemes and diagraphs. We showed them how to segment and blend and best of all they saw how fantastic we are at reading, @whistonwg @LittleWandle

The mystery box was just as exciting as we predicted. A new set of timber blocks! We have a so much fun playing with them and cannot wait to see where these fab resources take our learning. Thank you Amy and Paul and the team @PrecisionTimber. #imagination #openendedlearning

This week FS1 made a discovery in the snow… animal prints!🐾 We investigated where the prints led to and the different prints we could find, while making our own prints too❄️

FS1 have been busy baking gingerbread people! We worked as a team to follow the recipe and we all had a turn mixing, kneading, rolling, cutting and decorating!😄 FS1 are now ready for christmas⛄️
